WHAT IS VOTE COPEVOICE OF THOSE IN EDUCATION COMMITTEE ON POLITICAL EDUCATION VOTE-COPE is the political action arm of NYSUT that is funded by voluntary contributions from members. VOTE-COPE is used to help union-backed candidates and campaign committees that support education and labor. VOTE-COPE helps strengthen political action programs on all levels - national, state and local. VOTE-COPE provides rebates to participating unions for local political action. Taken from NYSUT VOTE-COPE Flyer For AGCEP's contributions in 2007-2008 we received 20% of our donations for local political action and 20% of our donation to cover expenses incurred supporting the local budget vote. A total of $900.00 was contributed to VOTE-COPE
