BECOME AN AGCEP VOLUNTEER!

Below are the current Executive council/committee Chairs and their responsibilities

1. Building Representative Chairpersons: Nancy Gross & Jack Barlett
   Serve as liaisons between Building Reps and Executive Council to communicate with building members. The chairs have the responsibility of educating building reps on the AGCEP contract to empower them to represent the members and relay important information to building members.



2. Political Action Committee Chairperson: Marilyn Horton
   Involves AGCEP in the political action related to the Greece Central School District and NYSUT. Attends BOE and other District driven meetings. Organizes the Vote-Cope campaign and all delegate activities. Communicates political information to Executive Council as it pertains to AGCEP and its members.



3. New Member Chairperson: Ann Marie Paul
   Welcomes informs and enlists the newest members to AGCEP.



4. Social Committee Chairperson: Diane DiSano
   Plans and implements all member–related activities requiring refreshment decorations and awards.



5. Budget Committee Chairperson: Maureen Close
   Responsible for developing a yearly operating budget to support the organizational and financial goals of AGCEP and organizes an annual audit committee.



6. Professional Development Chairperson: Eileen Alley
   Plans and implements the contractual AGCEP Professional Development Day that offers training opportunities for Professional Development for offerings of other District–driven Professional Development days.



7. Community Service Chairperson: Nancy Cooke & Jane Pfeifer
   Offers opportunities for AGCEP members to be involved in community activities which helps AGCEP become a visible and active group in the Greece and Rochester communities.



8. Newsletter Editor: Carol McDonald
   Compiles an informative AGCEP newsletter to be included on the website.



9. Sunshine: Carol McDonald
   Sends cards to members when notified of personal-life events (example; surgery, long–term illness, bereavement)



10. SRP Award Committee: Joann Lagona
    Selects a committee of 2–3 members from different buildings to set a timeline for nominations, reviews and selects an annual recipient, and publicizes the Golden Heart and Hands Award throughout the community.
